What's the difference between Free and Go?

Can I export to my email provider, or just HTML/image/PDF?

Free plan exports to HTML, image, or PDF. Go adds direct export to your connected email provider — no copy-pasting.

Can I export my emails to any email provider?

Absolutely! Templr exports clean, compatible HTML that works with all major email clients and email providers.

Read the Terms of Use for Templr. Understand your rights, responsibilities, and the rules governing your use of our email builder platform.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of Templr / Templrapp / templrapp.com, including templrapp.com, the dashboard, AI features, builder, template marketplace, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Definitions

Templr / Service — The AI-integrated no-code email template builder available via templrapp.com.

We / Us / Our — The operator of Templr, an individual based in New Delhi, India. Templr does not currently operate through a registered corporate entity.

User — Any individual or entity accessing or using the Service.

Account — A registered user profile that enables access to Service functionality.

Templates — Email designs created within the Service, including drag-and-drop elements, AI-generated content, and user-submitted marketplace templates.

2. Eligibility and Account Requirements

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that:

You have legal capacity to accept these Terms.
Information provided during registration is accurate and up-to-date.
You will maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You are responsible for all activities performed under your Account.

Accounts can be created using an email address and password, or by signing up with Google.

You may not access accounts belonging to others without authorization.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Description of the Service

Templr provides tools that allow Users to:

Design email templates using a drag-and-drop builder
Generate designs or content using AI prompts or reference images
Export email templates to HTML, image, or PDF
Connect an Email Service Provider (ESP) and export designs directly to it
Send test emails to their own inbox or other recipients
Upload and manage images in a personal image library for use in templates
Access a template gallery including free and premium templates
Publish templates to the community marketplace and earn royalties

Features, plans, and limits may change or be discontinued at any time.

4. User Content and Ownership

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of:

Designs you create
Uploaded images
Content generated using the Service

You grant Templr a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for operating the Service.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to all materials you upload or create.

4.2 Marketplace Templates

If you publish templates to the community gallery:

They may be publicly visible.
Other users may access them according to marketplace rules.
Premium templates may generate royalty payments based on usage.

Templr may feature or promote marketplace templates within the platform.

4.3 Watermark

Designs exported on the Free plan include Templr branding ("watermark"). Paid plans that include watermark removal allow you to export designs without this branding, subject to your active plan's features.

5. AI Features

The Service includes AI functionality powered by third-party providers.

By using AI features:

You acknowledge that prompts and content may be processed by external AI services.
Templr does not guarantee accuracy or suitability of AI-generated results.
You remain responsible for reviewing generated content before use.
AI generations consume credits ("AI tokens") according to your plan's monthly allowance, and additional top-up credits where purchased.

You must not submit unlawful, harmful, or sensitive personal data into AI prompts.

6. ESP Integrations, Exports, and Test Emails

6.1 ESP Integrations and Direct Export

Templr allows optional integration with external Email Service Providers (ESPs) so you can export designs directly instead of downloading them. Depending on the provider, you connect either via OAuth (e.g., Gmail, Outlook) or by providing an API key from your dashboard (e.g., Mailchimp, SendGrid, and similar platforms).

By connecting an ESP, whether via OAuth or API key:

You authorize Templr to publish or push your exported designs to your connected ESP account.
Templr does not access your contact lists, existing campaigns, or account data on your ESP beyond what is required to complete the export you request.
For OAuth-connected providers, Templr does not read inbox content, and access is used strictly for the export/send actions you initiate.
For API-key-connected providers, you are responsible for the accuracy and validity of any API key you provide, and for revoking it if compromised.
You remain responsible for how you use your ESP to send emails, including compliance with anti-spam laws and email regulations.

You can disconnect an ESP integration at any time from your dashboard.

6.2 Test Emails

You may send test emails of your designs to your own inbox or to other recipients you specify. You agree not to use this feature to send unsolicited bulk email, spam, or deceptive content to third parties. Misuse of the test email feature may result in account suspension.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation
Send spam or deceptive emails, including via the test email or ESP export features
Distribute malicious software
Infringe intellectual property rights
Generate or distribute content promoting violence, hate, harassment, or illegal activity
Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or exploit the platform

We may remove content or suspend accounts at our sole discretion if misuse is detected.

8. Templates and Intellectual Property

Templates provided by Templr remain the property of Templr.
You may modify and use templates to create your own emails.
You may not resell or redistribute platform templates as standalone assets outside the Service unless explicitly allowed.

Designs created by you remain your property.

9. Payments and Subscriptions

9.1 Plans

Templr offers a Free plan and paid subscription plan(s), currently including the Go plan. Plan names, features, limits, and pricing are displayed on the website and may change over time.

9.2 Billing

Payments are processed via Polar.sh, which acts as our Merchant of Record for all subscription and top-up purchases.
Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly or yearly basis depending on your plan.
Taxes and applicable fees are your responsibility and, where applicable, are collected by Polar.sh as Merchant of Record.

9.3 Upgrades and Downgrades

Upgrading plans may take effect immediately.
Downgrading may reduce access to certain features or limits.

9.4 Failed Payments

If a payment cannot be processed:

Access to paid features may be suspended.
We may retry billing attempts.

9.5 Refunds

All payments are processed by Polar.sh, which acts as Merchant of Record and is responsible for issuing refunds. Refund requests can be sent to support@templrapp.com or directly to Polar; approved refunds are processed by Polar to your original payment method.
Unless required by applicable law, fees are otherwise non-refundable.
If you are located in the EU/UK, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. For digital subscriptions and AI token top-ups, this right does not apply once you have expressly requested immediate access to the Service and acknowledged that you lose this right by doing so (for example, by confirming this at checkout). Where such consent has not been validly obtained, the 14-day withdrawal right applies and the corresponding refund will be honored.

EU rules effective June 2026 require an accessible withdrawal function on the purchase interface for EU consumers. Confirm with Polar whether this is provided as part of their Merchant of Record checkout, or implement one directly.

9.6 AI Token Top-Ups

AI token top-ups are available exclusively to paid plan subscribers.
Purchased top-up credits are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase and expire automatically thereafter.
Expired or unused top-up credits are non-refundable.
Monthly plan credits reset on your billing date and do not roll over; top-up credits are used only after your monthly plan credits are exhausted.

10. Marketplace and Royalties

Creators who publish premium templates may receive royalties based on usage.

Royalty structures, eligibility, and payouts may change.
We reserve the right to remove marketplace content that violates policies.
Users are responsible for any tax obligations related to earnings.

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts if:

These Terms are violated
Fraud or abuse is detected
Payment obligations are not met
Required information is false or misleading

Users may delete their accounts at any time. Upon deletion, access to associated content may be permanently removed.

12. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee:

Continuous uptime
Error-free operation
Compatibility with all email clients or platforms
Compatibility with all ESPs or successful delivery of exports to a connected ESP

Features may be modified or discontinued without notice.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Templr is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
We are not responsible for losses arising from AI outputs, email delivery issues, ESP integration failures, or third-party integrations.
Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Templr harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your content
Your use of the test email or ESP export features
Violations of these Terms or applicable laws

15. Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on external providers, including hosting platforms, AI services, payment processors (Polar.sh), analytics tools, and ESP integrations.

We are not responsible for third-party actions or service interruptions.

16. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in New Delhi, India.
